A flurry of WPIAL prospects chose to take their talents to South Bend this year, despite rejuvenating seasons by both Penn State and Pitt.

While many Pittsburgh products see Penn State and Pitt as their new homes for their four or five years of college football, this year was different.

The 2015 season for Penn State had plenty of ups and downs; although, their 7-6 record can be viewed as a positive considering how much the offense struggled to move the ball.
